Shoulder injuries are given their own review, as are football injuries to the upper extremity, throwing injuries to the upper extremity, and injuries associated with club and racquet sports. Use of MR Imaging in particular is discussed for the labrum and elbow, and MR Arthrography of the upper extremity is reviewed. Wrist and hand injuries are discussed in detail in separate articles, and imaging of the pediatric athlete is addressed as well.
