註釋
Collaborative efforts between police and corrections personnel are gaining steam as we move toward the new millenium. This report examines this trend in criminal justice and provides a look at initial elements jurisdictions should consider when moving toward this kind of partnership. The principle of this partnership is to join valuable resources and share important crime fighting information so goals common to each agency can be achieved. The report uses case studies of current applications throughout the USA to examine the advantages and difficulties encountered in implementing such partnerships. For example, this exchange of information between police and corrections allow police officers to be better prepared in detecting violation of parolees.
