Zebedee Morris (1828-1897), son of Elias and Sarah Morris of Montgomery County, North Carolina, married Emiline Williamson in 1845. They later moved to Buncombe County and then to Madison County. William Mills was born in 1650 in Derbyshire, England and married Rachel Gilbert. His descendant, William Mills (1699-1766), was born in Derbyshire, England and died in Albemarle County, Virginia. His son, Ambrose (1722-1780), married Mourning Stone (ca. 1724-1755) and Anna Brown. He later died in Rutherford County, North Carolina.
