Faces in the Crowd
註釋A baby girl, a family of sugar workers, a disabled man, a student, a well-meaning banker, a village woman and a boy with leprosy. Nobody rich or famous. Just faces in the crowd. Yet each with a remarkable story to tell.

Chris Bale met them all during 20 years of working with charities in Asia. Time passed and he lost contact with them, but in 1997 he set out to find them again, hoping to see how their lives had changed.

This is the moving story of that search, a journey which started in a fishing village in the Philippines and ended seven months later on the dusty streets of Karachi.
