註釋Eight secondary school students from Dublin's inner city set off on their first ever school trip abroad. Their first year history teacher, Tom McDonagh, decides to take the boys to Cornwall over the annual Halloween break. But his proposed fun-filled learning experience becomes a harrowing adventure when the ghosts of centuries past rise up to confront the travellers on this, the ancient Celtic feast of Samhain. Further trauma confronts the boys when their favourite teacher takes on a new and terrifying skin. He becomes a heartless master bent on leading them into a dastardly scheme to wreck a rich cargo ship off the Cornish coast and confiscate its treasure. The boys are thrown into fits of confusion when they are visited by the ancient spirits of good and evil - all bargaining for their souls. In the end, they alone must make the choice. Which path will they follow?
