註釋James Woodburn was born in County Londonderry, Ireland, in 1748. He He immigrated to America in 1767, and settled first in Pennsylvania. He married Sarah McGill McMurray, a widow, in 1775. They had five children. The family lived in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia, and finally settled in Chester district, South Carolina. He died there in 1812. Descendants lived in South Carolina, Indiana, Alabama.
