Those were the glamorous years of Juan and Eva Perón, but also those of her tragic death and his political decline. They were the years of the crowds in the streets and the ritual political ceremonies, but also those of an until-then-unknown governmental activity materialized in multiple social programs. This book illustrates the many sides of that story through images selected because of their historical value as much as for their aesthetic and emotional appeal.
