The Enforcement of English Apprenticeship
註釋The Statute of Artificers of 1563 declared itself to be, and was, with two very important exceptions, a codification of previous legislation. Its provisions have been too often described for all of them to need review, especially since of the three main parts of the Act--regulation of the contract of service for all hired labor, wage assessment by the justices of the peace, and the regulation of apprenticeship--the present study deals only with the third.
