The outcome was not the happy ending that fairy tales are famous for. This book tells a story not about the outcome but of the journey and the lessons learned when an insidious disease like cancer permeates your very existence. Love, commitment, courage, change and acceptance are all a part of the underlying theme. The reader will leave with an understanding that the obvious miracle thats hoped and prayed for may not always occur but there are a number of miracles that are revealed in the midst of insurmountable odds that are all pointing to that one thing that you dont want to happen and that your adversity, if fact, can be your gift.
