A Data Evaluation of a Prediction Program for Sound Transmission in a Surface Layer
註釋Acoustic data from the files of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution are presented in a form which permits direct comparison with a surface-layer, sound transmission, prediction program operated by the Fleet Numerical Weather Central, Monterey. A total of nine exercises, typically providing data at several ranges and several shots at each range, are compared. Transmission ranges vary from a minimum of one to a maximum of nineteen kiloyards. Frequencies span the range 0.1 - 10 kHz. (Author).
