The Archaeology of the Aylesbury-Chalgrove Gas Pipeline and The Orchard, Walton Road, Aylesbury
註釋A report on the excavation of three sites in Buckinghamshire and four in Oxfordshire in 1999 as part of investigations in advance of a new gas pipeline. As a whole the sites represent occupation evidence from the Mesolithic to modern period with noteworthy evidence from the late Bronze Age at Latchford, Iron Age and Saxon evidence at Roycote and Iron Age and Rome sites in Cornwell Copse and Warpsgrove (all in Oxfordshire), and an Iron Age site at Chilton Grove, a late Roman site at Peppershill Farm an a long occupation sequence from the Mesolithic to modern day at The Orchard near the centre of Aylesbury.
