As a whole the sites represent occupation evidence from the Mesolithic to modern period with noteworthy evidence from the late Bronze Age at Latchford, Iron Age and Saxon evidence at Roycote and Iron Age and Rome sites in Cornwell Copse and Warpsgrove (all in Oxfordshire), and an Iron Age site at Chilton Grove, a late Roman site at Peppershill Farm an a long occupation sequence from the Mesolithic to modern day at The Orchard near the centre of Aylesbury.
