Final Report to Division of Atmospheric Water Resources Management
註釋Aircraft observations of dynamical and microphysical processes in San Juan storms were obtained during the winter of 1974-1975, in connection with the Colorado River Basin Pilot Project. These observations are combined with other available data from the project to yield a generalized picture of the storm structure on all scales from synoptic to microphysical. Transport and diffusion, ice crystal concentrations, and liquid water contents are discussed for the different storm stages. An assessment of the seedability of different storm stages is presented and the CRBPP statistical results are discussed in light of these conclusions.
