註釋History of George Clark (1898-1989) and his 1st wife Clista Coverstone (1902-1931) told through letters written to each other May 11, 1919 to December 1, 1920, a few weeks before their marriage on January 12, 1921. Clista died August 2, 1931 from a burst appendix. George married again to Elsie (Ward) Sherrick after his children were married and on their own. When Elsie died in 1968, George married Maud Isenburg, who died October, 1989, two months before George.
