Steady, Three-dimensional Perturbations in Boundary Layers
註釋The study of three-dimensional boundary layers is synonymous with the study of cross flow or streamwise vorticity in the boundary layer. The research is concerned with the initial value problem for the 3-D boundary layer equations. Results are reported on exact solutions for the decay of streamwise vorticity, on a combined oil-flow--optical method of visualizing the surface flow field in the presence of 3D protuberances, and nonuniform behavior of the small crossflow approximation.
