註釋"150 nature, landscape, portrait, and architectural photographs celebrated the centennial of Paul Strand's birth. 61 photographs in the exhibition came from the Southwestern Bell Foundation, including 6 given to the National Gallery in conjunction with the exhibition and 55 promised as gifts. This exhibition was the first large retrospective of the artist's work since his death in 1976. Films produced by Paul Strand were shown daily in the East Building small auditorium: Manhattan, The Wave, The Plow That Broke the Plains, The Heart of Spain, Native Land, and It's Up to You."--Site web National Gallery of Art, Washington
