註釋A native of Hartford, Connecticut, Henry Ward Camp (1839-1864) was a graduate of Yale College. In December 1861, he joined the Union Army and in 1863, saw action in South Carolina, where he was captured and held as a prisoner of war; Camp was killed in action on 13 October 1864, near Richmond, Virginia.
