A J-Integral Approach to Development of ?-Factors
註釋Relating work done on a notched or cracked test piece directly to other fracture parameters, such as the J-integral, has been of interest at least since the development of the Charpy test. In this paper relationships between J and work are explored. The conditions for the existence of direct relationships are explained, and some cases where such relationships do not exist are observed. Moreover, these relationships are explored in terms of Turner's ?-factors, which are useful both in J-integral test analysis methods and for structural analysis.
