註釋
Abstract: The proceedings of a satellite symposium to the 1983 Annual Meeting of the Society for Neuroscience highlight the functions of zinc in the nervous system. Part A, containing 25 papers, focuses on physiochemistry, anatomy, and analytic techniques, while part B, containing 22 papers, emphasizes the consequences of zinc deficiency, toxicity, and pathlolgy. Part A also includes a discussion of zinc in neural information processing, neurotransmitter biosynthesis, and brain functioning. Part B examines the effects of zinc deficiency on brain development and the effects of zinc deprivation. Both parts include indexes. (wz).
