註釋Susan Anne Livingston Ridley Sedgwick (1788- 1867) was an American author and artist. She was born to Matthew Ridley (1746-1789) and his second wife Catherine Livingston (1751-1813), and married Theodore Sedgwick II (1780-1839). Her works include: The Morals of Pleasure (1829), The Children's Week (1830), Allen Prescott; or, The Fortunes of a New England Boy (1834), The Young Emigrants, Madelaine Tube, The Boy and the Book, and Crystal Palace (1836), Alida; or, Town and Country (1844) and Walter Thornley; or, A Peep at the Past (1859).
