The Life and Death of Stars
註釋About 95 percent of all visible matter in our galaxy, the Milky Way, and indeed in the entire universe is contained in stars. Compared to stars, planets are insignificant in size; contained in stars are the materials of matter and even life itself. By studying the birth and death of stars, scientists are learning about how the universe began, how it maintains itself, and about how it may end, as well as gathering insight into the secrets of energy and matter.
