註釋This publication presents results of a survey of maternal and child health programs reported to be offered by Health Canada's Medical Services Branch in Aboriginal communities across Canada. Branch employees were surveyed regarding seven specific program areas: prenatal care, intrapartum care, postnatal care, well-baby clinics, influences on pregnancy and pregnancy outcome, reproductive health, and dental health. For each area, information is given on the general nature of programs, types of programs offered, program content, special programs and activities if any, and program delivery. A copy of the survey questionnaire is appended.
