This report describes the work done in a research contract to develop transducer calibration software, referred to as TRANSCAL, for use in the Defence Research Establishment Atlantic underwater acoustics calibration facilities. The TRANSCAL software controls the calibration procedure, acquires and processes the received data, and presents the results. The system has been developed using the LabVIEW programming environment to operate on a Macintosh Quadra 900. This volume describes the procedures for directional response measurements & reciprocity measurements. Sample screens are included.
