I wrote this book with an informative purpose. It is important to know how things work, especially when using them. I do not consider myself an expert on the concepts reported, but a sufficiently critical attitude towards computer technology (IT) I believe I have, with full knowledge of the facts.We have reached a point where we can not do without IT anymore, now it is everywhere, and it is exponentially evolving. The effect of an almost unlimited and apparently uncontrolled dissemination of information, through television media, newspapers and social media, is in front of everyone. At least we try to be aware as much as possible.I do not pretend to include in this paper all the subjects in which IT is involved, they are really too many and sometimes extremely technical, but I have chosen for you the general topics that represent in my opinion the current character of this matter.
