註釋The connection between gender diversity and financial performance: Previous studies suggest that diversity has a positive impact on the bottom line, so it is not surprising that increasing numbers of companies devote considerable financial and human resources to developing and leveraging diversity. At the same time, however, the link between gender diversity and corporate financial performance has not been firmly established. Despite an intensifying interest in establishing this link, limited availability of quality data, measurement issues, (including what, when, and how to measure), and other study limitations have produced varied findings on the topic. Because business leaders increasingly request such information from Catalyst, we have undertaken this critical and timely examination, which explores whether there is a demonstrable connection between gender diversity and organizational financial performance."
