Health Promotion in Palliative Care

The book will also present a health promotion perspective of palliative care patients, their families, and healthcare workers. All approaches to patients and their families must be based on individual contexts and frameworks and should be adjusted accordingly. The possibility of following up with the bereaved after the death of their loved ones as an important health promotion intervention. The healthcare workers in palliative care are subject to different stressors than other medical professionals, and the priorities are not the same as in other settings; ultimately, fulfilling the patient’s wishes as well as their needs is essential.
