Our heavenly Father's heart cry is for closeness in relationship with those whom He loves""His children, those whom He sacrificed His Son Jesus Christ for. In every relationship, there has to be communication, and in every deep relationship, there has to be mature communication. How we get there with God is through mature prayer. Prayer is our communication with God. However, none of us starts out mature in prayer. All of us, at some point, even if it's just in our hearts, ask, "How do I pray?" A lot of the time, I have seen this question answered, "Just pray what you want." Though this answer has truth to it, there is a deeper answer that could be given to further along a person's prayer life and, through that, further along their relationship with the Father. That was the goal as I, guided by the Holy Spirit, wrote this book using examples of prayer and a lot of scripture to help provide a launching point to an enriched, mature prayer life full of belief and straightforwardness toward God.
