A single bullet pierces a muggy summer evening in Dayton, Vermont, a small town set in the majestic Green Mountains. Its intended target, Rachel Gates, is a seemingly average citizen, except for her connections to the drug lord José Tahs. The bullet is meant to silence her before she can reveal what she knows. The assassination attempt fails as Special Agent Andrew Brown stops the killers before they destroy his one lead to Tahs. Several days before Christmas, Andrew Brown calls an emergency meeting where he explains why he believes Dayton is in great danger. For Christmas, Tahs has planned the largest drug drop of the century to take place in Dayton. He's out to fulfill a vendetta and challenges his arch-nemesis to try to stop him. Andrew gladly accepts the challenge.
