Into the Veil
註釋"When I asked her how she found the answers she was looking for, she told me you just walk through the door to knowing. Her eyes danced, when I told her I wish I could walk through that door...replying, Maybe you have." As the world and reality spiraled out of control after the election, Morriganna, a psychic witch, could no longer endure life within the city she had called home for three decades. The years after divorce from a dark souled, abusive ex-husband and being estranged from her children and grandchildren were more than she could bare. Knowing what was coming, she knew she had to leave. So...she did the only thing she could think to do...she packed what she could and sold the rest...heading into the Rocky Mountains to find a new life...one that didn't involve the side of evil continually winning. When she arrived in the quiet valley town, she only intended to stay for a few days. That was before she mysteriously inherited Willowwood Manor, a large estate that included a house and metaphysical store from an Aunt she never knew existed. It won't take long for her to realize what Brigid de Fae left her was much more than she could have imagined. Crystal Veil may seem like every other town along the Crystal River, to the mundane person, but the magickal individual realizes it is filled with energy vortexes and spiritual portals. It is a place where any number of creatures, magickal beings and deamhain veil may enter the human realm. Creatures who move about the world as humans...working, living and breeding among the residents. When Morriganna comes face to face with the town Sheriff, a predatory Incubus...she realizes that she cannot escape an unjust society...she can however, become the hand of Karma in this one. With the help of several human and magickal friends that she makes along the way, along with handsome mandolin playing, electrician-turned campground manager, Lee...Morriganna will learn that what happens in the Veil determines what will happen in the world around them. As they work to uncover the name of a young ethereal female and the identities of the predators who abducted and murdered her, they learn earthly law will not bring justice...and it is up to them to protect the residents of the Valley. Assuming the mantles of the Morrigan and the Dagda...as the de Fae women and their consorts had done for more than a hundred and fifty years, they may find destruction of evil beings easier to deal with than their own fear of loving one other. As you step into the Crystal Veil, remember...some things that happen in the veil...must remain there.
