Money and Matrimony
註釋This a fantasy of Elizabeth and Darcy's romantic relationship, the courtship, which they never seem to have had, various family tribulations to their first baby. Darcy is portrayed as a 19th century Venture Capitalist at an important time of the Industrial Revolution. He is aided by Elizabeth's uncle, Edward Gardiner a respectable City merchant and Bingley, his oldest but idle friend, married to Jane Bennet. The story stays true to the original with one addition of a 'Beatrix and Benedict' theme running through it in the persons of Arabella the wild daughter of Darcy's aristocratic neighbours and his cousin, the cool professional, Colonel Fitzwilliam.
