Andrew Rainer is a young man who has been having troubling dreams about the murder of a young woman, since he was a teenager. When his dream is played out for real, with the discovery of a body in a river, Andrew begins to suspect his father was involved. His father then takes his own life not long after he reveals he had an estranged older brother, who held a disturbing family secret. Andrew then decides to pursue his own investigation of why his father took his own life and discovers a string of unsolved murders. His father it turns out had been a serial killer.
