註釋Downey Reed, son of Patrick Reed and Margaret, was born 15 September 1770 in County Down, Ireland. He married Ailsy Dehart (1767-1823) in Rockbridge, Virginia in 1788. They had eight children. He died in 1830 in Clinton, Ohio. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Ohio, Iowa and Texas.
