註釋This volume outlines the intermarriages between the descendants of David McWilliams and William A. Crawford. David McWilliams was born in Ireland around 1790. He came to South Carolina and married Molly Mayn. Their children included Jane, Esther, William, Anna, Elizabeth, Mary, Martha and Nancy. Their daughter Jane married John Crawford, probably the son of William A. Crawford, a neighbor. William A. Crawford came to America from Ireland, a widower with several small children, whose wife had died on the ocean. He married Esther McWilliams and settled in South Carolina. William was the father of at least twelve children, possibly as many as 17, possibly including Rebecca, John, Thomas, Mark, Caleb, Samuel, Robert and Patrick. Descendants of these families moved to Georgia. .
