註釋Hercules Calcott (ca. 1640-1684) was in Isle of Wight County, Virginia by 1677. He married Susannah ca. 1670. One descendant, John Calcote, was born ca. 1750 in Virginia. He later moved to South Carolina and then Mississippi before 1802. He died in 1830 in Franklin County. Descendants lived in Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, South Carolina, and elsewhere.
