Abstract: "This report is a survey of a few Ada oriented design languages (ADLs). We have carefully studied the available information on the following languages: Anna, Ada/SDP, PDL/81 Ada, PDL/Ada, Arcturus PDL, SEDL, and Byron. These are uniformly described in capsule form. We describe two running examples of design in each of these languages. Based on this experience, and our expectations of Ada oriented design languages, we subjectively rate the languages on several criteria. We intend to periodically revise this report."
