An Evaluation of the Effectiveness of Alternative Recruitment and Nutrition Education Methods in the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP)
註釋Abstract: The project explored reaching more families without significantly increasing the EFNEP budget. This effort requires the development of nutrition education methods that can serve more people than the traditional one-to-one approach, yet still retain the effectiveness of that approach. The EFNEP pilot projects were experimental variations of the traditional EFNEP approach and tested ways to increase food stamp recipients' participation in EFNEP and to increase the cost-effectiveness of educational interventions.
