註釋This report presents a recommended framework for measuring & reporting on the state of quality of life & economic progress of the Alberta capital region. The report contains a baseline (1999) assessment of the region's quality of life compared to other Canadian municipalities using the proposed indicators framework and historical national & local indicator data. Appendices include: an assessment of performance indicators & quality of life measurement frameworks used by other Canadian & US communities; a list of current performance indicators used to monitor municipal performance in the region; and record of workshops held to discuss an appropriate suite of indicators to measure the health or state of the region's human, social, environmental, & economic resources.
