註釋The advanced researchs in the area of technology, to the patenting of inventions and utility models, have faced a serious contradiction: while they seek to establish a network to exchange information, to optimize their results, must hide the data collected and analyzed to safeguard the future filings of patents and, consequently, investment in research by the private sector. This turns the academy into an area of unfair competition. In this context arises the proposed (by Antonio Araújo) on the PIPa method, or method of pre-patent research, which anticipates the filing of patents, to subvert the traditional logic of certain type of academic research, providing a search with greater freedom in the information exchange, and safe to the private investor, through public-private partnerships (PPPs).
