Tiffany and Mike DuPree purchase an historical mansion. Tiffany is enchanted by its Victorian architecture and immense rooms filled with hidden nooks and crannies. Despite Grace's sometimes obnoxious behavior the business grows, although Mike and Tiffany know it will take years to see a profit. Then the furnace breaks and the estimates to replace it are huge. Tiffany panics, fearing what will be the next to go. The large house begins to deplete their savings. Will the financial stress cause them to grow apart? Will they lose Sunbrook? Soon Tiffany and Grace encounter unexplainable strange occurrences. Then one day, while exploring the third floor storage room, Tiffany uncovers journals written by John Lloyd, the original owner, that gradually reveal Sunbrook's astounding secrets. Secrets that send them on a journey of discovery that could transform Mike and Tiffany to the blessings of marriage, love and life at Sunbrook.
