His father, Edmund Louis Grey Zalinski was an army officer and inventor of some note, particularly in explosives and military devices. Letters from Zalinski to his aunt and uncle, Anne and Lewis Adler and cousin, Simon and, his father, Edmund Louis Grey Zalinski. Also letters from Mark Adler to his parents, Lewis and Anne Adler. Included are two letters from Viola to her parents and a sister, Mrs. Sarah H. Knible, two letters from Edmund Zalinski to his sister and brother-in-law, Anne and Simon Adler, and a letter from the Lehigh University Alumni Association to Edward Robins Zalinski.
