Mission in the Gospels
註釋Mission was at the heart of the life of the Early Church and the Gospels, yet very little attention has been given to the subject by New Testament scholars. The churches at the time of the Gospels were compelled to forge their own identity over and against Judaism. They were also wrestling with the practical and theological problems of successful mission to the Gentile nations. In this book, the author looks closely at the theme of mission in each of the Gospels before drawing his findings together and relating them to the life and the challenges faced by today's church.
