註釋David Guenther was raised at Wausau, Wisc. Gladys Larson, whose father was an Assemblies of God minister, was raised in North Dakota and graduated from high school at Minot, N.D. Both attended North Central Bible College in Minneapolis, Minn. They were married in 1950. He served as an Assemblies of God minister in Wisconsin and later conducted evangelistic crusades before becoming a missionary to British Guyana.
