註釋William F. Lochow (1839-1912) was born in Zicher, Germany about 60 miles east of Berlin. In 1847, he immigrated to the United States with his parents Frederick Lochow and Anna Stresau. William married Lily Caroline Apel 3 April 1859 in Chicago. Lily Apel (1839-1928) was born in Saxony and was the daughter of Louis Apel and Johanna Godecke. Lily also immigrated to the United States with her parents in 1847. William and Lily had twelve children and reared them in the state of Illinois. Descendants lived primarily in Illinois and elsewhere.
