All of These Connections
註釋Dear Friends, Being a mother-in-law is one of the most difficult things in the world. I didn't realize that until my own kids were grown and married, because Dan's mother, Nonny, made it look easy. I had no idea how much energy, effort and just plain self-discipline it takes to make an outsider feel like family. I'm trying to be a better mother-in-law, but I'm no Nonny Palmer! To put it bluntly, I don't like Serena, especially how she's been lately. My husband Dan says I'm silly to be so worried about Rob and our grandbabies, but I know how I feel and it's not good. Dan says don't interfere or we're liable to lose all of them, not just Serena. I ask you, what's a grandmother supposed to do? And then there's my daughter Marik. Sometimes being a mother isn't any easier than being a mother-in-law. I'm worried about Dan's sister Daisy too since her idiot husband Will up and left her. If you are part of a family, you'll know what I'm talking about. Maybe you can give me a new perspective or better way to think or feel? I'm about at my wit's end here! Sincerely, Rose Palmer
