"The author writes : Christianity is in a tight spot in Africa: some would say a very tight spot. It is therefore all important that Christians should understand something of its position, which cannot be done without trying to understand a lot of other things. That is why I have had to pack so much into so little and I readily agree with the critics who may point this out.
