註釋James Haworth was born 26 January 1828 at Edgeside, Bacup, Lancashire, England, son of George Haworth a woolen weaver. He married Ellen Walker on 27 November 1862 at the Parochial Chapel, Newchurch, in Rossendale, Lancashire, England. They were the parents of eight children. He died 11 January 1880.
