The Call of God to the Ministry
註釋The solid conviction underlying this work is that the true call to pastoral ministry must be from God alone. Seminary education, Degrees, and other titles earned, regardless of whatever benefits these may bestow, will never be an acceptable substitute for the call of God upon one's life to the ministry. This must be an unshakable conviction that pervades the mind of those called of God. A minister void of the call of God, even though he possesses "letters" from men (i.e., Ph.D., Th.D, etc.), is in a pitiful place, for "without [Him we] can do nothing" (John 15:5). Unless the "sufficiency is from God" who alone is able to make one a minister of the New Covenant, he only has that which is "of men" rather than that which is "from heaven" (Luke 20:4).
