The regulated markets in India dealing the large quantity of agricultural produces and authorized to the sale-transactions. The regulated marketing committee is to look after all kind of sale-transactions and serve the farming community in particular and marketing machineries in general. The different kind of agricultural produces in India and accordingly the price system is also varies. All kind of agricultural produces are to be transacted in the marketing premises are bound by the regulations/guidelines framed and executed by the committee. Inspite of this, the farmers are facing lot many hurdles for the sale-transactions and the infrastructures facilities to be required for them. Agriculture marketing comprises all the activities involved in the supply of agricultural inputs and outputs including all those operations which are related to the procurement, collecting, grading, storing, food and agro processing, transportation, financing and selling of the agricultural produce. In fact, marketing includes all the aspects of agribusiness excluding the cultivation process. The agricultural marketing system also relates to economic growth of the agricultural sector and ensuring safe and affordable food to consumers, which is directly linked to the food security of the country. Keeping these issues in the mind, the authors have taken up for investigation and accordingly carried out.
