Field notes Vol. 721 is a typescript list of fungi specimens collected mainly by Moses Ashley Curtis and sent to Miles Joseph Berkeley. The collections were made in North America, mainly the United States, with many from North and South Carolina. Collections were probably made in the mid-19th century; some of the envoi's from Curtis to Berkeley are dated in the early 1850's. Entries are numbered from 1-6394 and contain fungi name and description. Collection locations and dates are mostly not included. The typescript has some handwritten annotations. This copy of the notes was made in 1910 under the direction of George Massee and purchased by the New York Botanical Garden.
