Fables In An Old Style
註釋This book is the third in a series of books for children. Books One and Two are written in bilingual format with Spanish and English on opposing pages in contrasting paragraphs. This book, Book Three, is in English only, while Book Four in the series is in Spanish only. The series is designed for children and adults who enjoy learning languages and seeing the differences and similarities between them. The books are based on furthering traditional values while they are inclusive of contemporary life. One newspaper reviewer wrote: "Billed as fables, the stories are parables about real life, and reading them, whether aloud to a little one or silently, letting the storyline work its magic inside our heads and hearts, we are reminded what life is all about." ( Trudy Wischeman, columnist for the Sun-Gazette). Another reviewer wrote: "Fables in an Old Style, while primarily written for preteens, will resonate with readers of all ages, as they did with this reviewer who found them both charming and meaningful." (Newell Bringhurst, 'Newell's Notes, ' Visalia Times-Delta)
