註釋George Thomas Screeton (1828-1898) was born in Kingston-Upon-Hull, Yorkshire, England. He immigrated to the United States in the late 1830s and lived in Illinois. He married Susan Stapleton in 1849. They moved to Carlisle, Lonoke County, Arkansas in 1875. Descendants and relatives lived in Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana, Florida, Oklahoma, California and elsewhere.
